1.3 Course Materials and Copyright:
The cost of the session includes all materials supplied during the session. My Kid Rocks is the copyright owner of all course materials with the exception of materials clearly published by third parties. My Kid Rocks copyright materials may only be used by the person attending the course for their personal use.
1.4 Making Payment
Payment is made via PayPal or bank transfer. You do not need a PayPal account in order to pay for the sessions; you can instead use a credit / debit card. Places are secured on receipt of payment and are filled on a first come first served basis. The completion of a booking form or website enquiry form does not secure a place.
1.5 Refunds and Cancellations
My Kid Rocks is under no obligation to refund or transfer monies paid in the event that you are unable to attend part of or the entire course (5 sessions). We regret that we are only able to offer an alternative for missed lessons if places are available on another course. If you cancel at any time prior to 14 days before the course begins we will refund your money. Should you cancel within 14 days prior to the commencement date (up to 5.30pm the evening before) we will issue a refund minus a £25 administration charge. Once a course has started, we regret that we cannot issue refunds or credits.
1.6 Adverse Weather
My Kid Rocks is under no obligation to refund sessions that may be missed due to local adverse weather when the venue and environment is safe and accessible and when lessons are held. We regret that we are unable to offer automatic refunding or rescheduling of lessons in the event of adverse conditions local to yourselves preventing you from attending a scheduled class.
1.7 Valuables and Jewellery
All property (including prams) left in entrance halls or outside are left at your own risk. My Kid Rocks cannot accept any responsibility for the loss or damage of any personal possessions.
1.8 Medical conditions
You will be asked for any existing medical conditions for either yourself, another carer who may take part in the sessions or the baby booked onto the course when booking onto the course. You agree to inform My Kid Rocks of any changes, as soon as you are aware of them. All information will be kept strictly confidential.
Should your child or the adult taking part in the session develop any known or suspected medical condition, you must please consult your doctor before bringing them to class and inform My Kid Rocks either via email or phone. All information received is treated in confidence and with sensitivity. Never bring your child to baby massage if they have an illness such as diarrhoea, chicken pox, impetigo or conjunctivitis. Please wait until your doctor has given the all-clear before returning to sessions. In the instance of sickness and diarrhoea your child must have been clear of all symptoms for at least 48 hours before attending a session.
Please take all your used nappies away with you unless a clearly marked bin has been provided. Never leave nappies in an open bin (including those within the venue grounds).
Whilst it is our policy that we endeavour to ensure you always have the same teacher, we cannot guarantee this. Any teacher covering a Touch Rocks Massage session will be fully trained with the International Association of Infant Massage.
1.12 Pandemics / natural disasters
If your course is disrupted due to reasons beyond our control leading to postponement or cancellation, you will be offered the opportunity to complete your course online, or postpone your place until we are able to provide another course.
1.14 All online sessions will take place via ZOOM. A link and password will be sent prior to the class starting and is for your own use only. The 'room' will be locked after the ice breaker and before the massage section of the class begins so that no one else can enter.
1.15 In taking part in the course online you consent to the guidelines sent to you via email before the course starts.
1.16 In taking part in the online course you release responsibility of the instructor.
