November News
A new term has started this week, and it's a quiet (and weirdly warm) one! The birth rate is down everywhere, apparently, but this term is historically a little quieter anyway.
I've shifted the start date on my Newton Hall course back a week to see if we can get a few more bookings, so instead it will start next Wednesday, 10 - 11.30 at Newton Hall Community Centre, Durham. This means there is still time to book on to my final Baby Massage course of 2024.
I'm 5 weeks into my Nurture Revolution course, almost halfway! So far, we've covered

Nurtured Parent-Baby Communication
and
Nurtured Stress
Next up is Nurtured Sleep
I'm learning so much, and I'm starting to filter my new knowledge into my existing classes as it's so complimentary. I'll be sharing snippets here, too, and showing you my new brain which arrived last week!
This training will enable me to add new classes to my offering, too, so stay tuned for what's to come in 2025.
Next month will mark 20 years since I started my Baby Massage training with The International Association of Infant Massage (IAIM) so I'll be celebrating more than Christmas in December!
October News
It's finally here! The month I start my new training - The Nurture Revolution Practitioner Certification with Dr Greer Kirshenbaum and Dr Rocio Zunini.
Nurture is a powerful tool in shaping a positive future for our children and society as a whole.
I'll be learning how to share these science backed messages with parents and provide support and guidance on how nurtured parenting practices can change the face of mental health for our children's future and beyond!
Neuroscience has fascinated me for a while now, and I'm so excited to learn more about the power of nurture on our human brains, its positive impact, and far-reaching benefits.
When we know better, we can do better!
I can't wait to offer something new in 2025!

Follow On Classes are back
Follow On classes are returning in January! Parents love the opportunity to continue meeting up and practising their massage skills together, as well as getting the opportunity to relax over a cuppa and cake. They love the structure of the classes and the feeling of "group therapy" they get from chatting honestly about a chosen subject relevant to their parenting journey.

Recent Collaboration
Introducing Angela Fenwick, a Natural Family Photographer.
I recently worked with Angela to capture some images of my classes in action. I was attracted to her organic and timeless style, and her ability to capture genuine moments rather than posed shots.
Angela came along to a couple of my courses on our final week and snapped away whilst the babies enjoyed their full body massage. It was surprisingly easy to relax whilst Angela did her thing in the background, I actually forgot she was there!
As you can see the images she captured are stunning!
I really love the way emotions come through in the pictures.
I've since booked Angela to photograph a family celebration and can highly recommend her and her documentary style for creating a collection of moments and emotions that will take you right back to that day for years to come.
