Ready for Follow On Classes?

"Just finished our 5 week course with Angela today and I have loved every minute of this course! I've learnt a new way to bond with my baby, the massage strokes are super easy and effective and we both enjoy massage time so much! I especially loved the chat times at the end of the sessions and took so much information and positivity that it has really helped me to chill out a bit as a first time mammy!! I couldn't recommend Angela's course highly enough and will be recommending it to all of my new mummy friends"

More About the course...

In seven and a half hours, over five weeks, you will learn a full body massage to enjoy with your baby.

You will learn about communication through touch and what your baby's subtle cues mean.

You will understand when the best time to Massage your baby is, what oils work well, how to position yourself and your baby in a way that works for both of you, and what to do if your baby is not in the mood.

You will hear about the history of Infant Massage and why cultures have held this ancient practice in high regard for thousands of years.

You will learn about colic and what you can do to help your baby.

You will understand the deeper benefits of massage for your baby, for yourself, your family, and even for wider society.

You will leave with life long skills and ideas on how you can adapt the massage techniques so that you can continue massaging your baby as they grow into a toddler and beyond.

You will also have the opportunity to take part in discussions with your group around topics covering touch, crying, sleep, taking care of you as a new parent, and what other groups are available locally.

The course takes place in a carefully selected venue that is warm, clean and plain, with care taken to create a welcoming and relaxing environment that doesn't overwhelm you or your baby.

Groups are small to enable connections to be made between parents, with a WhatsApp chat created specially for your group to allow for chat between classes and beyond the end of the course.

Your course will be led by me, Angela Laverick, a Certified Infant Massage Instructor with 19 years experience. I am fully insured, DBS checked and trained by the world renowned International Association of Infant Massage. I have a passion for supporting families in their first year of parenting and this course is an ideal place to start.

Follow on classes are the perfect opportunity to keep up your skills and allow yourself some time to relax with your little one every week.

Parents often tell me they feel sad when the course comes to an end and how they'd love to do more.

These classes follow a similar format to our week 5 session with the opportunity to practice the gentle movements and full body massage learned on the course.  We'll break for tea and cake, and cover some brand new discussion topics too, such as birth experiences, development, body image, changing relationships, emotional balance, returning to work... and more.
